The most interesting part of this class this year, would be some of our new projects and papers we wrote this year. I liked how she tried to make some of the work more interactive or hands on. Like Pretending we're going back in time, to meet people that we're researching our paper on.
The most boring/useless part of this class, would be when we had to do study island for exemptions from finals. I personally found it to be pointless, because I always had too many absences to get any exemptions anyways. Also, it was not very helpful in studying for our ACT testing.
The hardest I laughed in class would definitely be when our class would start to pick on Miss Hudson for getting so excited/ into some of our more "demented" stories.
My favorite memory about this class, is that we never got a letter on the board for talkiing in class. because of this accomplishment, after each quarter we got a special Casey's Pizza Day, and Movie Day for our class.
The best thing about Miss Hudson, is that she is able to connect with the students easily. She is a new teacher this year, so she is younger than some of our older teachers, so she knows how to make assignments that students actually enjoy to do, so we can get into the projects more efficiently.
There isn't much to improve about this class. It was very fun, and easy to enjoy. One thing I would suggest, might be more time during reading days, to get reading done for our book report books.

My Advise To You? (Week 31)
Well speaking to those sophomores who are about to become Juniors, you have a lot to learn. You're coming up on your final years of high school, then you have to go out into the real world and figure out what you want to do with your life. I learned that you should definitely get a job as soon as you are old enough, and make sure you learn how to save your money. Also, you want to take the honors classes, because they're basically the same, but you get more credits than in regular classes. Lastly, prepare yourself for the ACT's as best as you can. they are definitely not easy, and a very important teset that you definitely want to make sure study for.
Who Am I?! (Week 30)
Well I can easily decide the 5 people I would trust to rebuild my identity in my own memory. Those 5 people would be: My mother of course, My oldest brother Nate, My boyfriend Evan, My childhood best friend (1st grade-6th grade) Chase Wilson, and my teacher Mrs. Taylor.
1.) My Mom- She knows just about everything there is to know about me. She could tell me memories from being an infant, my first steps, my first words, and all about my schooling from grades Pre-K to like 8th grade. things like: in 1st grade my principal wanted to move me up a grade, or all the sports I've been in (every sport offered to girls up until 9th grade)
2.) Nate- Nate could fill me in on things we always kept from our parents. About all of our personal things, and crazy fun things that I've done. he could tell me embarrassing stories about me, and the family. He could tell me about all of the good and bad times we've been through together as a family. The times where we had to stick together or we could've completely fallen apart. But also all the laughs, and holidays, and games we used to play. -- This would be my favorite expert
3.) Evan- He could obviously remind me about our relationship together. And special occasions we have spent together, like Christmas morning, Vacations, and Easter with his family (etc.) He would also be the best expert to fill me in on my job. This is because I work at a place where his mom is the manager and she knows the owner of the store really well. I know he would tell me that I'm a responsible worker, who is (99% of time) on time for work if not early. Also who puts forth 100% effort into anything I do and catches on really quick.
4.) Chase- When Chase and I became friends, we were inseparable from the start. We did everything, you hardly ever saw one of without the other. She would obviously tell me about that, and be able to tell me about what grade school was like, from an inside point (unlike my mom). She could tell me how I interacted with students, and how I behaved in school. A good description of that would be: in grade school I was always pretty popular, and very outgoing. I have never been afraid to express my opinions about a person or topic. I was always top of my class (like I said under my moms), and that I had perfect attendance all the way through 6th grade. Also, that I never even got below a B on my report card. She could also tell me how we could sometimes be little trouble makers, like one time I got caught giving her answers on a test, or going places on our bike rides we were told not to go
5.) Mrs. Taylor- Lastly, my high school English/Foreign Language teacher, would be my best resource for how I was in high school, because at that point, I didn't talk to my mom much about what went on in school. Although I only had Her for 1 or 2 classes a year, she was still able to observe the things I did and went through my first 3 years of high school so far. She always saw potential in me, and actually kept me after class one day to tell me that., and that she worried I didn't "take advantage of that potential" the way I should be, (I guess), so she would probably tell me about that. Also, she would tell me by in her French 3 class, we kinda "butted heads" a lot, and how I kinda got "overly frustrated" sometimes in that class.
